FINE ART Lighting Shines at the 5th Hong Kong Asian-Pop Music Festival 2015

The 5th Hong Kong Asian-Pop Music Festival 2015(HKAMF
2015), organized by the International Federation of
the Phonographic Industry (Hong Kong Group) Limited
and supported by Hong Kong Trade Development Council
(HKTDC) was held at the Hong Kong Convention &
Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) Hall 5BC on 27th March
2015.
Keeping the same theme of “Music In One Asia", the
5th Hong Kong Asian-Pop Music Festival 2015(HKAMF
2015) continued its tradition of bringing together
top pop performers and budding recording artistes
from Asian countries such as China, Taiwan, Japan,
Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand and the host
city Hong Kong.
Fine Art provided more than 200 units of its lighting
fixtures for this grand festival. 63 units of the
Fine 2500 spot, 56 units of the Fine 2500 wash and
100 units of Fine X-treme 230Enha illuminated the
stage, creating a dazzling backdrop and atmosphere
for all the performers.
The Fine 2500 series, in particular, is a mature

as the 16th  Asian Games Opening Ceremony in

FINE ART OPENS THE 2014 YOUTH OLYMPIC GAMES CEREMONY IN NANJING, CHINA

The opening ceremony of the second summer Youth Olympic Games (YOG) was held in Nanjing China on 16 August this year. The Games is the second largest event that China has hosted, with 204 countries and nearly 4000 athletes participating. Fine Art is honored to contribute up to 2000 pieces of its lighting fixtures for the opening ceremony, which was held at the Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre.

Produced by Chen Weiya, who was the Executive Director of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the opening ceremony lasted about 90 minutes and was divided into three chapters to show the main theme of “Share Youth, Create Dream”. In the true spirit of the YOG, the show got off to a lively start and remained that way throughout the extravaganza, which was tailored to appeal to young people and to demonstrate the youthful vitality and spirit of the Games. There were 4,000 performers in total, most whom were young students from Chinese universities.

 The ceremony highlighted the great history of Nanjing and China, its icons and landmarks, including the Purple Mountain Observatory and the Yunjin brocade. Explorer Zheng He’s expeditionary voyages to the west and development of the Silk Road were also showcased, as was the Nanjing 2014 theme song “Dianliang Weilai,”, or “Light Up to Meet the Future,” which was performed by an international selection of singers from China, the Republic of Korea and Russia.

High-tech floor projections and mega sized television virtual techonology together with impressive stage lighting efforts not only helped expand the acting space of the many performers but created strong visual impact for the audience watching at the stadium and from their television screens at home. Fine Art’s 1500 and 2000 light series were used to elevate the overall visual experience of the ceremony, with their cutting and image forming, CMY and CTO functions illuminating the stage with vivid colours.

It was reported that most stage lighting equipment for the 2008 Beiijng Olympic Games was made up of European brands, but Chinese brands were used for this year’s YOG. This is positive indication of the rising quality of Chinese lighting products and is truly a milestone for the stage lighting industry in China. It is also worthy of note that Fine Art was the largest stage lighting supplier for this ceremony, owing to the excellent performance of its products.

Fine Art led moving head Lights up Fung Wong's Concert in Birds Nest

On Aug 2nd, Fung Wong’s 2014 Concert in Beijing was held in Bird’s Nest. The 100,000-seat national stadium was completely occupied, refreshing the record among the mainland artists.   Since June, Fung Wong’s touring concert has been held in many cities where Fine Art always the stage lighting supplier that creating an amazing stage with its fixtures FINE 330 BEAM、FINE 2000 WASH、and FINE 1500 SPOT for each station.
The stage was designed by the renowned designer LeRoy who once designed for LadyGaga, Beyonce and many other singers. All the equipments were debugged to match the large stage which was expanded to 10 standard basketball size. Thousands of lighting and special effects videos were set in the lighting controllers, helping to build a rock n roll atmosphere. In 3 hours, Fung Wong sang almost 30 classic songs. Music and the audience’s screams could be even heard a far distance from the bird’s nest.
After this concert, Fung Wong would go to Hang Zhou city to continue his next concert on Sep 30th.

Even though the Typhoon Kalmaegi happened, Nanning International Folk Song Arts Festival was held as schedule in Guangxi Sports Center on 16th Sep., 2014. There were nearly 1000 units Fine Art’s fixtures were used in this festival performance. This Festival provided wonderful live folk songs as well as touching folk stories that showed by large screen. It created a colorful folk feast for the audience through creative lighting, top sound effect and micro film ways. Basing on the local ethnic customs, this festival highlighted ASEAN characteristics with international features.

The 27th China TV Golden Eagle Awards Ceremony, hosted by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, China TV Artists Association and People’s Government of Hunan Province, was successfully celebrated in Changsha City, Hunan Province on 12th Oct., 2014.  Totally 350 units of FINEART Fixtures were used in this ceremony, including FINE 2500 WASH、120 units FINE 1500 SPOT、192 units FINE XTREME-280 and Follow Spot FINE 2000XF etc. Golden Eagle Festival, short for China Golden Eagle TV Art Festival, is the only national TV Arts Awards ceremony based on the viewers’ vote for TV programs. FINEART LIGHTING FOR 22nd APEC WELCOME BANQUET IN BEIJING CHINA

A welcome banquet was held for the 22nd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic leaders’ meeting in Beijing, China on 10th Nov., 2014.
